Les Arcs has a wonderful selection of centres to choose from for your Family Ski Holiday. Throughout its extensive ski area lots of the accommodation will be ski in/ski out which makes it really convenient for families.
The wide selection of runs both below and above the treeline will offer something for everyone in the family and the wooded runs are particularly wide and a great place to head to if the weather closes in.
The high snow sure purpose-built village of Arc 2000, which although not the prettiest resort in the alps, is functional and snow sure. The more attractive resort of Les Arcs 1950, which was built more recently, is pedestrianised and more attractive with a small selection of shops bars and restaurants and a handful of shared indoor/outdoor pools and other leisure facilities.
The resorts of Les Arcs 1600 and 1800 being lower are situated on the treeline and have a convenient selection of apartments, hotels and chalets to choose from. Les Arcs 1800 also has the advantage of the Mille8 area which is a fun leisure centre and activity park in which many activities are free of charge. There’s a pool and spa, the brilliant Luge/Sledge area which is free for 4-7 year olds and a reasonable price for others, a huge family restaurant and bar area, an enchanted woodland walk, BBQ area, giant xylophone at the end of one of the many children’s pistes to play on and many other fun activities going on inside and out.
Peisey Vallandry is the part of Les Arcs that the Cable car departs from to take you over to the la Plagne side of the Paradiski area. And Plan Peisey just a short distance away has many chalets, many with childcare available.
