Soll is part of Austria’s largest ski area, Ski Welt which covers 280km of skiing. Although this claim could have been exaggerated and we suspect that Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn is now larger. However the Ski welts extensive network will suit most intermediate skiers.
The skiing includes the villages of Ellmau, Hopfgarten and Westendorf from where its possible to access the slopes of Kitzbuhel.
Soll is an attractive village with chalet style buildings and an attractive church in its centre. Soll has a good reputation for lively après ski which starts on the mountain and finishes in the market square or if you still have the legs, nightclubs stay open until the sun comes up.
The ski range is between 620m to 1995m which is best suited to intermediate skiers. Beginners are are well catered for too, but advanced skiers will find the choices limited and would be best to look elsewhere.
