Sauze d’Oulx has an attractive cobbled street centre where most of our hotels in this ski resort are based. Many of the hotels are a little dated but offer exceptional value for money. Most are offered on a half board basis. What you will get in this resort is a family run hotel, some are a little dated but all are clean and well staff and owners are very accommodating and want to make sure you enjoy your skiing holiday. We also offer some excellent chalet hotels some of which offer slope side locations and exceptional value for money.
Families with skiing children will enjoy the skiing in the Milky Way ski area, the lift passes offer better value for money compared with French and Austrian ski resorts. The beginner’s area is at the Sportina sector, just above Sauze d’Oulx and separated from the main ski area, but the progression slopes are limited, so it’s not an ideal ski area for total beginners.
For intermediate skiers it’s a great choice, one of the best in Italy. Snowboarders on the other hand might want to avoid the drag lifts, some of which can’t be avoided. Advanced skiers will find little to test them on piste, none of the blacks are proper blacks but the off piste skiing between the pistes can be very rewarding.
