Morzine is chalet central, with lots of choice of all types of catered chalets available. Sadly, some of the smaller independent chalet operators in Morzine are not financially very sound. All the chalets we offer in Morzine have been checked as part of our due diligence. Some all our ski chalets are covered by either an ATOL or our own ABTA bond.

Morzine’s appeal as a ski destination is its location to Geneva, which on a good day can be under one hour. Secondly, its access to Portes du Soleil with some 650km of piste, is Frances second biggest ski area. Morzine is a popular choice for families because of this.

The local area is shared with Les Gets, its offers lots of wooded runs, however many staying here, head for the higher skiing at Avoriaz which is linked from Morzine and gives access to the rest of the skiing to Chatel and beyond.

Morzine nightlife is good, where there are lots of late night bars and clubs for dancing.

Some of the accommodation and chalets are not so close to ski lifts, so it's common for some of the chalets to operate a private mini bus service between the chalet and the ski lifts. This small inconvenience is often reflected in the cost of your holiday making them good prices, obviously, the chalets closer to the lifts command higher prices. There is a local multi route bus service which covers all parts of the resort.

Lift queues are seldom an issue, except on sunny weekends when the local skiers arrive on mass!
