Ischgl Resort Study
10th December 2014
Last year for the first time the Austrian ski resort of Ischgl made it into our top 20 most visited resorts by Skiline clients. Ischgl is a perfect choice for intermediate skiers. Its motorway styled slopes are linked to the Swiss ski resort of Samnaun and offer a total of 238km of piste with extensive off piste skiing too. The ski range is between 1400m to 2870m with an excellent snow record it’s possible to ski in Ischgl until early May.We offer two other popular chalets in Ischgl, Chalet Zita sleeps 22 and Chalet Hotel Abendrot sleeping up to 61 guests.
The Austrian ski resort of Ischgl is making big improvements to its ski area by investing €18 million to opening up new lifts. The old 4 seated Pardatschgrat lift which was the cause of morning queues has been replaced by a 28 seat gondola and should improve the speed at which skiers and snowboarders will be able to reach the slopes and a new lift which opened last year opened up some excellent off piste skiing and a new 3 km red run.
