7th September 2018
The Cimarron Mountain Club, located in the Northern San Juan mountains in Colorado has just launched a membership to new private ski resorts for just 13 families to enjoy exclusive use. The Cimarron Club will offer of 1,750 acres of skiing with 60 runs. Cimarron claim the ski resort enjoys an incredible annual snowfall of over 29 feet! That’s more than Aspen!
Share this mountain with just 13 other families!
Membership fee which starts at around $2.3m, gets you a 35-acre Mountain plot, a private log cabin home but members also have access to a large base lodge with 6 suites and a further three, four-bedroom cabins for members use. The annual membership fees are understood to $67,000 per family.
Access is by snowcat, both to the Club accommodation and for skiing, there are no roads. That’s probably going to appeal to millionaire mountain lovers who buy membership of this exclusive club. In addition, heliskiing from the Club is available in the wider 200 square miles of the San Juan Mountains and its renowned powder.
Just image a whole mountain to share with just 13 other families on a powder day. Ski resorts like Breckenridge and Vail get mobbed after a big snowfall and the powder is skied off before lunch, with 13 other families skiing, that’s probably not going to a problem on Cimarron Mountain Club, that powder could last days or even weeks.
In summer there is plenty to do too, fly fishing, hunting, mountain bike trail, kayaking, horse riding and excellent climbing and hiking.
