Chalet Le Benon Morzine, France
The thousand-year-old Morzine, nestled in a hollow of the mountain, exudes authenticity. The original, mostly wooden buildings and mountains that surround it, give it the typical charm of the resorts in the Savoie.
This chalet is operated by a Dutch chalet operator. If you don’t book the whole chalet you could be sharing with non-British guests. The terms and conditions relating to the purchase of a ski holiday from this Dutch tour operator will apply, a copy is available on request. All chalet staff will speak both English and Dutch.
Morzine is a nice, cozy, lively and large village. It is situated at 1000 meters altitude. In There are plenty of restaurants, bars and nightclubs, where it is very cozy until the late hours.
It's good to come home in this comfortable chalet. The decor is cozy and the location is beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious, as well as the living room. This chalet is located on the slopes of Le Pleney and is about 200 meters from the cable car to Avoriaz. Visiting Morzine after skiing a bit is certainly an option. The catered chalet is in the centre and the kindergarten is close.
The "gates of the sun”, with its 650 km of slopes, gives access to one of the largest ski areas in the world. The uniqueness of this area is that you can cross the border on skis or board as the area is both in France and in Switzerland. The 200 modern lifts ensure a swift transition to all corners of the area. The wide blue slopes are ideal for beginners while advanced daredevils can meet the challenge with La Mure, perhaps the steepest slopes in the world! Also boarders come to Les Portes du Soleil to push their limits. Especially for the cracks, there are many fun parks.
This chalet is operated by a Dutch tour operator, who have been in the catered ski chalet business for 42 years, operating ski chalets in France, Austria and Italy. The prices shown below are based on 7 nights catered chalet accommodation only, flights and transfers are not included.
The principle difference between the “normal” British chalet arrangements that you will be familiar with, is that afternoon tea and cakes are not included. However, house wine, beers, soft drinks, and tea and coffee are available and are included in the cost of your holiday.
Breakfasts will be more Dutch in style with cheese, hams and bread, yogurt and fruit juices, tea and coffee.
