Champoluc is part of the much favoured Monterosa ski area. This charming ski resort offers excellent varied skiing for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, in Italy’s own Three Valleys.
We first skied in Champoluc 18 years ago, when all the team enjoyed a long week here, at one time just one British tour operator featured Champoluc. Today several tour operators now offer Champoluc. We are only surprised it took others so long to realise just how good the skiing is here.
Today Champoluc has become very popular with families and we offer some good ski chalets with in-house creches.
The Monterosa ski area is made up of three separate valleys with a ski range of between 1579m to 3275m and offering 180km of perfectly groomed pistes. The other villages in the Monterosa ski area include Gressoney and Alagna.
It offers high altitude skiing with exceptional off-piste skiing. The terrain is best suited to intermediate and advanced skiers. But don’t discount Champoluc if you are a complete beginner; the slopes are generally un-crowded and the ski school is excellent.
The ski slopes in every direction, which means the snow conditions will mean even on warmer days the north facing slopes will hold good snow.
We offer a good selection of chalets, an excellent tour operator run chalet hotel, some excellent ski chalets with childcare and a wide selection of the best hotels in Champoluc. Our team know the resort well and are available to answer any questions.... Read more
