Great news! Val D’Isere have finally introduced a sensible ski pass that’s suitable for beginners in their brand new updated Solaise ski area which is available on a daily rate!
The Solaise area has been totally rebuilt and modernised at a total cost of €16 million for the coming ski season and the new lift pass will cost €35 per day. It will cover the easier green and blue runs in the area so is suitable for beginners and nervous intermediates.
The lifts covered will be the brand new Solaise Gondola (see link below), the madeleine lift (with the wonderful Madeleine restaurant which lies at the bottom!), the Datcha, the Glacier chairs and the Legattaz and Rogoney lifts which are down in the village along with 3 x magic carpets.
This season also sees the introduction of a one day Val d’Isere only ‘discovery pass’ which will cost €49 per day or a full Espace Killy for €55.50 per day.
We have some great chalet and hotel choices which are very close to the new Solaise lift such as the Chalet la Rocheure which sleeps 13 and has a spacious lounge area.
The hotel Aigle Des Neiges is 4* and overlooks the main Solaise lifts
