The hotel has two exquisite restaurants to choose from. Le Diamant Noir is a gourmet restaurant run by Michelin star Chef Éric Samson and features an outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the resort and slopes. At the end of the day, you can sit back in the lounge bar and enjoy a couple of drinks and some live music. La Rôtisserie, a family style grill, offers a more relaxed atmosphere.
The brand new Hotel Taj-I-Mah boasts a ski-in/ski-out location right on the slopes, next to the Cabriolet and St Jacques lifts. Situated next to the commercial centre of Les Arcs 2000, it is only a minute’s walk to the restaurants, bars and shops of the resort centre. For ultimate convenience the ski school meeting point is opposite the hotel and ski hire only 120 metres (approx.) away.
Each of the 48 rooms is well supplied with modern amenities, like free WiFi and a coffee maker, and there’s a good choice of sizes and views. There are 48 modern and comfortable rooms at this hotel. Twin or double rooms with a private bath or shower room with WC, flat screen TV and safe are available.
A tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by local councils in European ski resorts to support the local tourism infrastructure and may include services such as ski buses, subsidised admission to amenities e.g. pools and ice rinks and events such as firework displays. The amount charged varies according to the standard and type of accommodation. It is also not paid by all skiers as it is age-dependent. Therefore it is not included in the basic price of your holiday as we do not have all skiers’ ages at the time of booking.
