We're are proud to be offering the newly refurbished Chalet Choucas. It is beautifully decorated throughout with a modern neutral colour palette and comfortable furnishings. This chalet has a delightful open-plan lounge incorporating a kitchen and dining area. The spacious living area offers stunning views from the balcony over the Plagne 1800 pistes. It's the perfect spot for curling up after a day's skiing and watching the snow fall with a piece of homemade cake.
The chalet sleeps 8/10 guests in four stylish bedrooms with modern bathrooms. On the upper floor there is a large family room. The configuration is ideal and works really well when a family or group book all four bedrooms due to its shared facilities and cosy communal areas, it is best suited to 8 adults and 2 children having high tea. Although we think it is best suited to one group we are happy to sell on an individual room basis if requested.
Chalet Choucas is located right in the heart of Plagne 1800 and is only a short walk to the nearest chairlift and piste. It is also just a few minutes walk from the bus stop and the village centre. Plagne 1800 has a small selection of great aprés bars that feature live music, including La Mine and The Bobsleigh, with some wonderful restaurants too. For those who are looking for a slightly more lively aprés ski experience the resort runs a free bus service up until midnight to Plagne Centre

Founder of The Hive Cookery School and Area Manager, Christina Hadden works hard all year round to make sure every morsel you'll taste during your stay will get those tastebuds tingling.
During your catered chalet holiday you'll be served up some scrumptious treats, hearty meals and delicious locally sourced wine! You will receive a three course evening meal with unlimited red, white or rosé wine (6 days), with an additional 4th course of local cheese board with port on the Thursday evening.
A lovely start to the week, on arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapes and aperitifs will be served to you in the lounge whilst your chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.
Start your day with a delicious cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yogurts and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am 4 days a week.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, a self-service breakfast will be laid out for you consisting of cereal, yoghurts, pastries and fruit.
Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.

To compliment your meal we serve free and unlimited good quality red, white and rosé wines during the course of dinner. After dinner, fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea is served in the lounge.
This operator strives to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best they can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Chalet teams can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 7.30pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.
An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. This operator provides Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.
Your chalet hosts will have the day off all day on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings.
