Les Gets is one of the most popular villages within the extensive Portes du Soleil ski area, although its location at the far end means its slopes are less crowded than Morzine or the higher Avoriaz village. The small local Mont Cherry section is disconnected from the bigger area and remains quiet even of the busiest weeks of the season.
In some respects, Les Gets is the better place to stay than Morzine, Morzine skiers often head for the higher slopes of Avoriaz so the local ski pass that covers Les Gets and Morzine offers a good choice of runs and is a popular choice for families. The short transfer time (under and hour) from Geneva is also ideal for family groups. If you travel by car you can quickly access the main Portes du Soleil circuit by driving to the Ardent gondola.
This family friendly ski village of Les Gets offers a wide choice of ski chalets, some of which offer childcare. We also have a few small familly run hotels and self-catered apartments.
