Nearly 4km of New Ski Runs in Val Thorens for 2018/19
19th July 2018
Val Thorens has announced that skiers and boarders will enjoy two new ski runs, the longest of the two being 2 miles long which will open for the 2018-19 ski season on November 17th or earlier if the snow is good again this year!.
The length of the new runs, which the resort describes as “suitable for all” will be starting from La Cime Caron and descends approx. 3.2 kilometres with over a 570-metre vertical drop.
The second new run will be a black for expert skiers that’s being created in the Boismint sector and are popular with early morning skiers as the slopes get the morning sun.
We are waiting to see if the Three Valleys increases its claim to have 600km of piste, the last few runs added over recent years haven’t made them increase their claim.
