The Chalet Everest apartments are no ordinary self-catered affair. They’ve got a real luxe feel – we’re talking glossy wooden floors, chunky pine table tops, soft greys and warm LED lighting. The building itself’s a fresh take on the typical triangular chalets you see in Prato Nevoso, with a mix of traditional stone and clean, contemporary cladding.

Location-wise, you’re in the stylish Borgo Stalle Lunghe part of town – you’ll find coffee shops, restaurants and little stores selling things like handmade jewellery and cool socks. There's also a square in the middle, so grab a hot choc and a warm slice of focaccia and take a seat to enjoy the fresh mountain air. From here, it’s a 5-minute stroll down the road to the foot of the nursery area and the chairlifts.

When it comes to mealtimes, you can do whatever works for you. You’ve got a kitchenette with a hob and a microwave for whipping up a quick meal, or you can head out and find a bite to eat from a snack bar nearby. For a leisurely lunch or evening meal, Prato Nevoso’s chock-full of laid-back bistros and gourmet restaurants serving authentic pizza and pasta – and some seriously good tiramisu.

  • Contemporary apartments with heaps of style.
  • Near cafés, bars and boutiques.
  • Soak up the mountain view from your balcony.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?

Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.

Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.

Please Note

Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
