With typically warm Valdostanan hospitality and a touch of English charm, our aim is make you feel at home. We will wish you “Good morning” with a rich buffet style breakfast; after a strenuous day in the mountains you can relax in our garden, enjoy an aperitif on our terrace, or participate in one of our activities such as Wine Tasting. Baby-sitting service available on request in advance and we have a playroom for the children beneath our bar.

Grand Buffet Breakfast
The best way to start your day… a full buffet breakfast with a wide selection of sweet and savoury dishes to choose from… and if you can still manage it, English breakfast Italian style is available on request. Breakfast begins at 7.30 and finishes at 10.00. For those leaving early a self-service breakfast will be available. For those enjoying a lie-in, cake and cappuccino can be served in the bar after 10.00.
Restaurant
Take your place at your table in our spacious and comfortable restaurant and take in your authentic mountain-style surroundings, the 60 year old larch ceiling and original paintings and wood carvings from important local artists. Enjoy great Italian food including typical and traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley.
Awarded the enogastronomic title “Saveurs du Val d’Aoste”, we use wherever possible, ingredients produced locally at 0km.
Each day we offer a grand buffet of antipasti, a choice of 3 first and second courses and (if you have room!) a selection of homemade desserts… in addition to our “a la carte” menu also available at a supplement.
Bar
Step into our bar and step back in time… this is the more historic area of our hotel going back to 1917 when it was originally used as a breakfast room. Full of atmosphere and memories from long ago, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine, beer or a cocktail after a wonderful day in the mountains.
Parents can relax and chat in the bar whilst the children enjoy the playroom in the area beneath the bar.
Location
Take the A26 road up from Verrès for 27km to reach Champoluc in the Ayas Valley, beneath the stunning Monte Rosa mountain chain and glaciers. Our Hotel Castor is located in the historical heart of this famous mountain resort at just 500m from the Monterosa ski-lift system and close to many summer trekking trails.

- Return airport transfers from Milan Malpensa, Linate, Bergamo or Turin airport.
- Accommodation as described above.
- Lift Pass for the Monterosa area including Freeride at Indren. All passes include Snowcare Insurance.
- Superior Skis And Boots
- Snack Lunches to use at selection of mountain restaurants using our voucher system.
- Ski deposit at the bottom of the main lift where you can store ski equipment overnight.
- Use of our Resort Minibus for shuttle service around the resort and to ski lifts. Available from 8am to 6pm
- Resort team to help with anything you might need, 24 hours a day.
