Chalet Laurier is a waRoom and spacious chalet decorated in traditional Savoyard style, combining modern luxuries with alpine character. The chalet is in a fantastic location with easy access to the piste and local amenities.
The living area is perfect for curling up around the log fire on the comfortable sofas and enjoying a slice of homemade cake. There is ample seating so the open plan lounge is perfect for socialising. The balcony offers unrestricted views of the pistes, perfect for planning your day's skiing and enjoying the snowy settings of La Plagne. Alternatively, you can relax in the hot tub room and unwind after a day's activity.
The chalet offers eight spacious bedrooms spread over two floors, including a single room, complete with en-suite facilities.

Chalet Laurier is about 150m from the Plagne 1800 chairlift, you walk out of your chalet down a snowy path and you can start your day's skiing. The Plagne 1800 chairlift takes you out of the village up towards Plagne Aime 2000. From here you can ski directly back to within 150m from Chalet Laurier via the red "Les Mines" piste or blue "Jean-Marie" or "Lovatière" from Plagne Centre. Alternatively you can ski back via the black "Crête-Côte" run.
Chalet Laurier is in an excellent position within the village of La Plagne 1800, located just a few minutes from the La Mine Bar and a couple of minutes' walk from the local Spar supermarket and hire shops. On the chalet hosts' night off the "Petit Chaperon Rouge" is a short walk across the piste, a cosy mountain restaurant with a roaring fire.

Founder of The Hive Cookery School and Area Manager, Christina Hadden works hard all year round to make sure every morsel you'll taste during your stay will get those tastebuds tingling.
During your catered chalet holiday you'll be served up some scrumptious treats, hearty meals and delicious locally sourced wine! You will receive a three course evening meal with unlimited red, white or rosé wine (6 days), with an additional 4th course of local cheese board with port on the Thursday evening.
A lovely start to the week, on arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapes and aperitifs will be served to you in the lounge whilst your chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.
Start your day with a delicious cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yogurts and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am 4 days a week.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, a self-service breakfast will be laid out for you consisting of cereal, yoghurts, pastries and fruit.
Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.

To compliment your meal we serve free and unlimited good quality red, white and rosé wines during the course of dinner. After dinner, fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea is served in the lounge.
This operator strives to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best they can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Chalet teams can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 7.30pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.
An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. This operator provides Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.
Your chalet hosts will have the day off all day on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings.
