The newly renovated chalet Le Namaste is one of the leading private homes in Courchevel 1850 and was the former summer residence of Baroness Margaret Thatcher. Located in the exclusive, gated Hameau de Cachemire, it boasts one of the most desired addresses in this fashionable resort and provides easy direct Ski-In/Ski-Out access to the green Bellecote Piste, bringing you directly to the heart of the resort and main lift departures.
This modern alpine chalet underwent a recent €1 million renovation, increasing the size of the chalet and bringing you four floors of complete luxury. Chalet Le Namaste accommodates ten adults in a sumptuous double master suite, three double bedrooms, a large windowless children’s room that sleeps up to four children in gorgeous cabin bunk beds, and a smaller, windowless 10m² double room – perfect for nannies, staff or children, all with en-suites and/or Jacuzzi’s.
Adjacent to the bunk bedroom is a convenient lounge area with a TV, great for children to relax and play. Chalet Le Namaste is the very epitome of alpine chic and offers over 400m² of living space.
The spa features an indoor swimming pool with a mood lighting system. Alongside the compact Hammam and Sauna, the spacious massage treatment room works a treat for post-ski recovery, and a Pilates/yoga/stretching/workout area is incorporated on the mezzanine level above the pool.
Nearly every window in the chalet frames a beautiful panoramic vista. A lovely south-facing terrace catches the morning sun and is the perfect place for a breakfast coffee or by evening, unwind with a glass of champagne and a warm blanket to watch the starry skies.
The entire top two floors of the chalet were renovated and refurbished in 2019 to provide a spacious open plan, double-height living and dining area, complete with brand new furnishings and a private office at mezzanine level.

While in an Ultimate Catered Chalet, a delicious continental breakfast will be prepared by your chalet team and beautifully presented each morning with the best locally sourced Savoie produce. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, your private chef will provide a selection of cooked breakfasts prepared to order and cooked fresh. Want something specific from the boulangerie? While staying in a Relaxed Catered Chalet, the private chalet chef will create daily continental breakfasts with one cooked option available (served 8-9.30am).

Once back at the chalet an afternoon tea will be laid out complete with delicious cakes, a selection of teas and free-flowing Perrier-Jouët Champagne. For 5 evenings of your stay, your private chef will prepare a selection of delicious canapés and mouth-watering multi-course dinners using the finest locally sourced ingredients. Chefs are trained in cooking culinary magic for all tastes and dietary requirements – simply let your sales director know of any dietary requests when booking.
Your dedicated chalet team can help arrange lunch restaurant bookings, and a daily afternoon tea, complete with chilled Perrier-Jouët Champagne will be laid out each afternoon. In the evening, pre-dinner nibbles will be laid out for you and your guests to enjoy. For five nights of your stay, a choice of two family serve courses will be prepared by your private chef, followed by a cheese course (choice of chef’s days off to be booked pre-arrival).
