Why Ski in Solden?

The ski resort of Solden, in Austria, is known as the golden gate to the glacier. This village has great skiing and boarding as well as great evening après ski and entertainment. There are so many different choices of runs and fun parks to try out. Skiers will be able to ski the 147km of piste by day and then party late into the early hours. The town is spread across the valley with the main road through the middle. There are 2 gondolas in the village, one at each end, a free shuttle service runs to take you there. All of the slopes are mainly above the tree line but some of the red runs back to the village do weave through the trees on the way back down. The 2 areas, once up in the mountain, are linked by chairlifts than there are further lifts up to the glaciers.

Ski Line has a large selection of hotels, both half board and B&B, apartments and chalets in the ski resort of Solden.
