Kaprun Ski Resort Guide

Why Ski in Kaprun?

The ski resort of Kaprun is situated at the bottom of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier so you will always have amazing snow and fantastic back drops. The level range that Kaprun has on offer is very good from the nice nursery slopes for beginners to the great off piste area for the advanced skiers. There are local buses connecting the ski resort of Kaprun with Zell am See and the lift pass covers both areas. A gondola runs up the Alpincenter and the main slope in 2 stages.

The main area of Kaprun is served by a cable car and various T-Bars. There are 130km of slopes over 4 different areas, so if you are happy to stay with the same area over a weeks skiing this is the place for you. The tree lined slopes are a very beautiful sight. You also have the sports centre in the village which has a wide variety of facilities. The breath taking scenery of the Glacier with such a good range of high altitude skiing combined with all the local bars and restaurants make the Ski Resort of Kaprun a good all round resort on and off the piste. We can offer chalets and hotels in this resort and there are also a few chalets with Childcare.
