Cervinia is one of Europe’s best intermediate ski areas and one that we especially recommend. The nursery slopes in the village is excellent. Advanced skiers will probably prefer the skiing on the Zermatt side.
Cervinia shares its ski area with the Swiss Iconic ski resort of Zermatt in the shadow of the probably the most recognised mountain in the Alps, the Matterhorn.
Snow reliability isn’t a problem; Cervinia the village is located at 2050m with a ski range between 1525m to 3480m. On a sunny spring day, Cervinia is hard to beat but its good in the dead of winter too.
