Will the White Forest ski area divorce or make up?

The White Forest ski area has had links to two French ski resorts, Risoul and Vars for nearly 40 years. But a spat over lift revenue between the SEM SEDEV lift company and Labellemontagne has put the connection in jeopardy for this winter.

Social media is Buzzing with dissatisfaction at the decision.

It seems crazy after the impact of Covid and a lack of good snow that these two companies can’t find common ground… Although we suspect there will be a making-up before the ski season gets underway in December.

Dan Woodley, the digital marketing manager at Ski Line said

“We have seen these arguments over revenue before in the Swiss 4 Vallees and in Andorra between Soldeu and Pas de la Casa but in both cases, an agreement was eventually reached”.
