Meriski the Meribel ski chalet specialists appoint liquidators

Meriski, the Meribel ski chalet specialists appointed liquidators last month, their website states “Meriski is not trading for winter 23/24, we will post further information very soon”.

We understand that some of their ski chalets have been taken over by other companies and will continue to be available for catered ski chalet holidays in Meribel.

Colin Mathews the CEO of Meriski, is associated with a website called Mathews Luxury Travel, however, the T&Cs state the contract for any travel arrangements is with Meriski Limited when we checked this morning.

Ski Line has a history going back many years with the Meriski brand, in its day, the Meriski chalets were the pinnacle of luxury when it came to ski chalets. At a time when many of our ski chalets still suffered from limited hot water and bunk beds and paper-thin walls were the norm. We stopped acting as agents for Meriski a few years ago after concerns about the liquidity and their balance sheet.
