Chalet Angelique is back for 2026/27

We’re pleased to say that Chalet Angelique in Val d’Isère is back on the Ski Line website for the 2026/27 season, and it’s one that’s definitely worth a look if you’re searching for something a little different for your next ski holiday.

Tucked away in the peaceful La Daille area of Val d’Isère, Chalet Angelique has plenty of the traditional Alpine charm you’d expect from a French ski chalet, but with a rather grander feel. In fact, it feels more like a beautiful Alpine country house than a typical chalet.

And the best bit? Prices start from just £833 per person for an independent travel holiday.

A chalet full of character

There’s something about Chalet Angelique that makes it stand out. The stone exterior, exposed beams, huge fireplace and traditional wooden features give it loads of character, while the spacious interiors make it a really comfortable place to spend a week with friends or family.

The main living room is the heart of the chalet, with a huge stone fireplace, deep sofas and plenty of room for everyone to relax after a day on the slopes. There’s also a separate snug and TV area, plus a library for anyone fancying a quieter spot to unwind.

Sleeping up to 12 guests across six ensuite bedrooms, it’s ideal for a group looking to take the whole chalet exclusively.

The master bedroom is particularly impressive, occupying the top floor with a four-poster bed, its own seating area, TV, bath and separate shower. There’s even balcony access, giving you a great spot to take in the surrounding mountain scenery.

Just two minutes from the slopes

One of the biggest advantages of Chalet Angelique is its location.

The La Daille gondola and funicular are just a two-minute walk away, making it incredibly easy to get onto the mountain each morning. The funicular also gives you quick access to the higher slopes, while the gondola is your gateway into the Val d’Isère ski area and towards Tignes.

La Daille has plenty nearby too, including a supermarket, bus station and après-ski options. When you fancy heading into Val d’Isère itself, the free resort shuttle bus makes the journey simple, taking around five minutes.

So while the chalet has a peaceful, tucked-away feel, you’re never far from everything you need.

Catered, comfortable and made for relaxing

Chalet Angelique is catered, with a private chef and chalet hosts looking after you throughout your stay.

The idea is pretty simple: good food, plenty of it and a relaxed atmosphere.

Breakfast is provided on five mornings, with continental breakfasts on the staff’s days off, while afternoon treats such as freshly baked cakes and biscuits are waiting when you return from the slopes.

In the evening, you can look forward to a four-course dinner six days a week, with canapés, starters, a generous main course and dessert, accompanied by a selection of bottled wine.

There’s also a dedicated children’s menu, making the chalet a great option for families as well as groups of friends.

And once dinner is done, you can head back to the living room, grab a seat by the fire and settle in for the evening. Sounds like a pretty good way to spend a ski holiday to us!

More than just a place to sleep

Away from the living spaces, Chalet Angelique has a few extras that make it even more appealing.

There’s a sauna and gym on the entrance level, perfect for unwinding after a day skiing, along with plenty of communal space throughout the chalet.

The chalet also includes six days of housekeeping, luxury toiletries, slippers and dressing gowns, plus a mid-week towel change.

And if you’re lucky enough to visit later in the season, keep an eye on the hillside behind the chalet, marmots are often spotted enjoying the sunshine!
