The Garni Romantica is a lovely little fuss-free guesthouse, just a short walk from the slopes. Sitting proud above Selva’s pretty centre, the ski lifts are a 12-minute walk away and it gets great views over the village and up into the Sella Massif. Getting here

• When you arrive in the resort, the coach isn’t able to take you right up to the entrance of the Garni Romantica, so you’ll be dropped off at the bottom of the driveway. From there, it’ll be a 1-minute walk.
