Claviere is a small village located in the Italian Alps, close to the French border. It’s part of the Via Lattea (Milky Way) ski area, which includes several other resorts in both Italy and France, making it a great destination for a ski holiday.

Skiing in Claviere

Claviere offers a range of skiing for all levels, with plenty of blue and red runs for intermediates and beginners, as well as some challenging black runs for advanced skiers. The Via Lattea ski area has a total of 400 km of slopes and 70 lifts, making it one of the largest ski areas in Europe.

Snowboarding

Claviere is a great destination for snowboarders, with several terrain parks and halfpipes, as well as plenty of off-piste areas.

Ski accommodation in Claviere

There are several hotels and apartments in Claviere, as well as some chalets and bed and breakfasts. However, many skiers choose to stay in nearby towns like Sauze d’Oulx or Sestriere, which offer more amenities and a wider range of accommodation options.

Claviere is a small village with a few bars and restaurants, but it’s not known for its après ski scene. However, nearby resorts like Sauze d’Oulx and Sestriere offer more options for nightlife.
