Located in the heart of one of the biggest ski areas in the world, The Three Valleys, Residence les Balcons sits in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the resort centre of Val Thorens. These apartments provide comfort and privacy for your winter holiday and all have picturesque views of the valley and surrounding snowy peaks.
Due to their quiet location, these apartments are a great choice for families. Cots and high chairs are available upon request, free of charge, and there is also a children's pool available - a good way of keeping the children entertained after a day on the slopes.
Head over to the spa and wellness area for a moment of relaxation. Over 600m², Residence les Balcons spa area provides you with an indoor heated swimming pool with amazing views of the valley, a sauna, hammam and a fitness room. Access to these facilities is included so you can really make the most of recharging after an active day but if you'd prefer a massage or treatment, there are 2 spas where these services can be requested and paid for locally.
Your snow sports holiday couldn't be more stress free as the ski hire and maintenance shop is located 2 minute walk from the residence building meaning picking up and returning equipment is simple and easy!

All apartments have a fully equipped kitchenette, lounge area with access to a balcony, a bathroom and/or shower room and a WC.
One bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 people and are 33m². These apartments have one twin bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. There is also a bathroom with hydrotherapy tub and a balcony.
Two bedroom apartments sleep 2-6 people and are 52m². These apartments have two twin bedrooms and a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. There is also a bathroom with hydrotherapy tub, a separate shower room and a balcony.
Three bedroom apartments sleep 3-8 people and are 72m². These apartments have three twin bedrooms and a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. There is also a bathroom with hydrotherapy tub, a shower room, two separate toilets and a balcony.
An end of stay clean is included except the apartment kitchens.
The Residence les Balcons apartments are offered on a self-catering board basis and provide you with a fully equipped kitchenette and supermarket within the residence building.
There is also a restaurant on site - L'Auberge - that serves savoy and Italian specialities, meals here can be booked and paid for locally.

Eurostar & Rail Travel
The Eurostar Snow Train will be back for the 2026/27 ski season, taking passengers from London St Pancras International Station to selected ski resorts. With both Standard and Premier Classes on the Eurostar, comfort and choice are guaranteed all the way.
Step 1 - Board at London St Pancras. Scan your ticket (London St Pancras to Lille Europe) at the gate and go through passport and baggage controls. Your luggage stays with you - the carriages can store bags.
Step 2 - Arrive at Lille Europe. Now it's time to join your connecting service to Lyon; the platform won’t be far away, just check the departure boards once you get there.
Step 3 - Arrive in Lyon. Now it's time to join your connecting local TER train to Moutiers. Once again, the platform won't be far away - just check the departure boards once you get there. It's usually on the adjacent platform.
Step 4 - On to your resort. Sit back and make the most of the comfy seats, free Wi-Fi and more, as you're whisked to the Alps. You'll arrive at Moutiers.
Step 5 - You've arrived at your final stop, now transfer to your resort. You'll be met by the resort rep and join a short coach journey.
