Les Deux Alpes offers 200km of skiing on high snow sure slopes. The town is about 2 km long and this is where most of the accommodation that we offer is based. There are several lift departure points giving access to both the mountains. Much of the accommodation here has easy access to the ski lifts.
Les Deux Alpes ski slopes are best suited to advanced and beginner’s skiers but timid intermediates should also enjoy the skiing here. The problem for more confident intermediate skiers is the limited extent of good red runs, although we think some of the blues, might be graded as reds in some other ski resorts.
Snowboarders love Les Deux Alpes, it’s a Mecca for Pro rider’s in the summer who train on the glacier. Some of the blue runs will be too flat for you, but there are lots of steep runs and the off piste will surely delight.
The extensive network of proper green runs, means early beginners have great skiing. Once on blues, it's possible to ski top to bottom on green and blues, something of an achievement for many first timers.
For advanced skiers the off piste skiing will be the biggest draw with some challenging couloir runs, one is 200m long which rewards you in a wonderful snow field, often with powder. Some off piste routes have a vertical drop of over 1000m.
The village is at 1650m with an impressive ski range of 1300 to 3570m. There is glacial skiing here, so you always can find good snow even late into the ski season.
We offer a choice of catered ski chalets, chalet hotels some with excellent childcare, apartments and of course Club Med has a hotel here, which is always popular because of its all-inclusive nature.
