The Hotel Les Sherpas was built back in 1961 by the Pinturault family as a Savoie-style chalet. To this day, the Pinturault family and their extremely helpful and friendly team continue to offer a homely atmosphere and top-quality service. Over the years, the hotel has seen a number of developments and refurbishments, adding contemporary touches to a traditional and characteristic hotel. Set among the alpine forest, the large picture windows open up onto mountain landscapes and snow-covered branches.
Les Sherpas is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Courchevel 1850, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Jardin Alpin gondola. The complimentary shuttle service makes getting to and from the lift and centre of resort really easy each day.
The comfortable and cosy rooms continue the chalet-style theme with added modern elements. Lightwood décor and large windows create a calming and airy feel. And after a long day on the slopes, you can snuggle down into the luxurious bedding for a good night’s sleep. Rooms benefit from a range of facilities including free WiFi, bathrobes and slippers.
After a day on the mountain, you can soothe those muscles in the hotel’s wellness facilities. The heated indoor pool has large picture windows out onto the snowy surroundings, or sit back in the sauna and steam room. The relaxing lounge bar has a large open fireplace and comfy sofas – perfect for any time of the day. And the cocktail menu is something else to look forward to. For the kids, there’s a games room and great kids’ area to keep them occupied.
For added convenience, the boot room has individual ski lockers and heated boot racks.
All meals are served in the bright and sociable dining room. Begin the day with a delicious buffet breakfast offering a wide variety of hot and cold options, including eggs and omelettes cooked on demand. Early evening meals with special dishes are available for children from 6pm, giving families the option to get the little ones off to bed for an early night. And the 5-course evening meals are something of a talking point here – a different menu every day includes combinations of modern gourmet dishes with a typically French note.

Tourist Tax
In some resorts, you’ll need to pay a small fee called a ‘tourist tax' at your accommodation, either when you check in or check out.
These taxes can change at short notice, so it’s always worth checking the latest details before you travel.
Good to know: Not all accommodation accepts card payments for taxes, so you may need to pay in cash instead. For some countries, tourist taxes are calculated based on an accommodation's official rating, which can be different to its rating on our/the operators site.
