Aurinkorinne Apartments

Ruka, Finland
  • Flights included
  • Transfers included
, nights

The Aurinkorinne Apartments are spacious, modern and furnished to a high standard – ideal for groups and families.

Unlike most of the accommodation in Ruka, the location is just west of the main village, in a peaceful setting among the pine trees. It’s 10 minutes' uphill walk to the centre, and there’s a t-bar lift close by that will take you straight to the main ski area. And at the end of the day, you can ski right back to your door.

The apartments all come with well-equipped kitchenettes, ski lockers next to the front door and drying cabinets for all your gear, so you can wake up to warm ski boots. In the evenings, you can relax in your own private sauna or get cosy in front of the roaring log fire.

Ruka village is generally pretty laid back, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants to try if you fancy a break from cooking. There’s also a reasonably priced supermarket that's handy for stocking up on Essentials.

When you're not skiing, you can spend a few hours at the bowling alley or indoor adventure play area. And definitely don’t miss out on trying some of the outdoor winter activities on offer too.

  • Modern apartments, each with a balcony.
  • Ski back to the door at the end of the day.
  • Après Finnish-style in your own private sauna.

Essentials

  • Ski-in, ski-out

Good To Know

Please note: Some buildings may be a little further from the slopes, therefore not all rooms will be ski-in, ski-out.

Check-in is at 6pm. If your transfer arrives before then, you'll be dropped off in Ruka's village centre and you can store your luggage in Ski Inn Ruka Village Hotel. You'll need to take the ski bus to your cabin at check-in time, which is free with a lift pass.

Check-out is at 3pm. If your transfer coach is scheduled after then, you'll need to make your own way to the village centre on the ski bus to be collected. Due to the narrow roads, the coach doesn't have direct access to your cabin and you might need to walk a short way with your luggage.

Getting Here

When you arrive in the resort, the coach isn’t able to take you right up to the entrance of the Aurinkorinne Apartments, so you’ll be dropped off close by. From there, it’ll be a 5-10 minute walk.

Tourist Tax

In some resorts, you’ll need to pay a small fee called a ‘tourist tax' at your accommodation, either when you check in or check out.

These taxes can change at short notice, so it’s always worth checking the latest details before you travel.

Good to know: Not all accommodation accepts card payments for taxes, so you may need to pay in cash instead. For some countries, tourist taxes are calculated based on an accommodation's official rating, which can be different to its rating on our/the operators site.
