The local area offers 4,200 acres of skiing connected to 10 lifts, or nearly 8,000 acres in the full area. Queues midweek are not an issue but after heavy snow locals will join you on the mountain at weekends.

If stunning scenery is more important to you than nightlife, choose Lake Louise, but if you like to party after a day on the slopes choose Banff!
