Borovets is a lively Bulgarian ski resort set in the Rila Mountains, it’s best suited to intermediate skiers. It offers 58km of lovely wooded slopes with a ski range between 1320m and 2560m. Lift queues are rarely a problem in Borovets. With lift passes for the week costing just £120, it's around 60% cheaper than in France.
