Zürs is one of the lesser known ski resorts within the Arlberg ski area, along with its busier neighbour Lech, it also shares its ski area with St Anton, St Christoph, Zug, Stuben and Sonnenkopf in a ski area covering 304km of linked pistes, making it Austria’s largest ski area. In addition to piste skiing, the ski area also has around 200km of deep snow runs.
Zurs is one of the most exclusive ski resorts in Europe, it has the highest ratio of private ski instructors to guests anywhere.
Zurs attracts an international clientele including royalty who are seeking luxurious accommodation and a first-class service.
In the 2016/17 ski season, four new lifts link Zürs and Lech with St Anton and Stuben, greatly improving the skiing here.
