Skiing right up to a roomy, modern apartment with excellent facilities is the Das Alpenhaus way. This aparthotel is a great choice for all kinds of groups looking to self-cater, though having a kids’ play area and being close to Katschi’s Children’s World – the nursery slopes for little ones – is a particularly big plus for families.

  • Go from slope action to après in a flash with ski-in, ski-out on a blue run.
  • Get comfy in your spacious, modern apartments with cracking mountain views.
  • Follow up ski time with a few laps in the snazzy indoor pool.

The apartments take up to six and come in various sizes. Your kitchenette has all you need to put together a quick bite or cook up a storm, but you also have the rustic Alp.In restaurant here if you fancy trying out the classic Austrian offering on your doorstep. You have a bright living space with smooth pine panelling and comfy furniture, and best of all your own balcony or terrace with mountain view.

There’s a spa here too, so you can follow up slope time with a bit of TLC. Pick your sauna of choice to have a lie down in, or natter about your day on the mountain while doing some gentle strokes in the pool. And if you’re one to finish your night with drinks and music, then head to the Almkessel across the road – it’s the place to be.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?

Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.

Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.

Please Note

Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
