The building itself is slopeside on the nursery run – perfect if it’s your first trip. Or if you’re eager to explore, it’s a short walk to the Spieljoch gondola, and there’s even a hotel shuttle that’ll zip you to other ski lifts in the area.
Food here is another highlight. Get set for big buffet breakfasts and 5-course evening meals, with freshly baked cakes and savoury snacks in between in case you need a pick-me-up after a session on the slopes. Local ingredients are the stars of each plateful, and lots of the jams and chutneys are made with fruit and veg from the hotel’s own garden.
