Ski Holidays in Fugen
The terrain here features wide summit slopes and wooded valley runs, ideal for those who prefer easy-going and scenic skiing. With a fun slope for kids and few crowds, it’s perfect for family ski days. The area spans three mountains, with Onkeljoch peak being the local favorite. A gondola ride from the edge of the village takes you right there. For more diverse pistes and terrain, a free bus can take you to the larger Hochfügen and Kaltenbach areas.
Off the slopes, Fügen is a relaxed village known for its traditional guesthouses and welcoming, family-run hotels. The après-ski scene is quiet, with just a few bars. Instead, evenings are spent enjoying the hotel spa and winding down with a nightcap at the hotel bar.
For some off-slope fun, head to the Erlebnistherme Zillertal waterpark. It offers waterslides, splash pools, and fountains for the kids, along with plenty of saunas for the adults. It’s the ultimate destination for family-friendly activities.
