Lodge Park Hotel Soldeu, Andorra
You might remember this hotel as the Park Piolets Hotel & Spa, but it's recently stepped into its new identity as the Lodge Park Hotel - and it's easy to see why Inghams guests love it so much. Right in the centre of Soldeu, this modern mountain retreat hits the perfect sweet spot between comfort and alpine style. The second you unbuckle your ski boots and walk in, you'll feel the vibe - huge windows frame the stunning views of the snowy peaks, and the team makes you feel right at home from day one.
If your ski legs need TLC, the nature-inspired spa is the ultimate place to unwind (just pay and book locally). They use eco-friendly, probiotic products that are great for your skin and the environment. The whole space is bright, calm and filled with natural light, featuring a large pool for a post-ski soak and a gym if you still have energy to burn.
After the final run of the day, the bar and lounge are the place to be. With fantastic cocktails, beautiful mountain views and a totally laid-back atmosphere, it's easy to settle in for the night. If the sun is out, head straight onto the Moët & Chandon Terrace - it’s the best spot in town for a sunny après-ski drink. Designer Pilar Líbano nailed the look here, mixing modern style with cosy alpine touches like statement fireplaces and deep sofas you’ll want to sink straight into.
Please note, spa facilities are available at a local charge and are approx. €29 per adult and €14 per child per two hour session. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. There is also a range of spa treatments available with 7 treatment rooms (payable locally).
The hotel has a Kids' Club with a place for children to play. It is supervised with themed activities, face painting, dressing up, mini disco and more.
Lodge Park Hotel is offered on a half-board basis, so breakfast and dinner are sorted. Mornings start with an extensive hot and cold buffet, perfect for fuelling up before heading out onto the slopes.
Dinner is where things really come into its own, with a huge buffet spread and eight live cooking stations serving everything from grilled meats and fresh fish to wok dishes, pizzas and pasta. The international menu means there’s plenty of variety throughout the week.
If you fancy switching things up one evening, the hotel is also home to KAO, one of Soldeu’s newest dining spots, serving refined Chinese haute cuisine in a stylish setting (payable locally). It’s a great option for a special dinner during your stay.
Staying over Christmas or New Year? The festive atmosphere gets turned up a notch with special gala dinners included on both dates and New Year celebrations come with unlimited cava and wine to help you toast your way into the year ahead.
