Hotel Nordic El Tarter, Andorra
Right on the slopes, Hotel Nòrdic makes ski days seriously easy – simply step outside, click in and you're off. With ski-in, ski-out access to Grandvalira’s huge terrain, you can be first to the lifts in the morning and cruising home by the last run – just the ticket if you’re here to rack up the ski miles.
The Nòrdic's classic alpine looks are all wood and stone, with a dramatic high-atrium lobby and the owner’s classic car display just some of the eye-catching details. Looks aside, there’s a cracking range of facilities to explore too. Swing by the wellness area with its pool, sauna and hot tub to rest and reset between slope time – or there's a bowling alley, games room and a buzzy lounge bar if you're in the mood to hang out. Plus, free ski lockers and the on-site ski shop make life easy – no faff, just more time for the good stuff.
And on the meals front, you’ll fuel up with big breakfast spreads and laid-back evening buffets that keep things tasty and stress-free. Think fresh grill stations, comforting local dishes, loads of choice and plenty of desserts to finish. It’s flavour-packed, no-fuss food that hits the spot after a day on the mountain.

Tourist Tax
In some resorts, you’ll need to pay a small fee called a ‘tourist tax' at your accommodation, either when you check in or check out.
These taxes can change at short notice, so it’s always worth checking the latest details before you travel.
Good to know: Not all accommodation accepts card payments for taxes, so you may need to pay in cash instead. For some countries, tourist taxes are calculated based on an accommodation's official rating, which can be different to its rating on our/the operators site.
