The Janganda

With a magnificent view over the river and tropical gardens, this quiet, intimate bar is open in the evening and provides the ideal setting to relax with a cocktail or pre-dinner drink before dining at the Jangada restaurant.

The Poolside bar

Just a few steps from your deckchair, this stylish poolside bar offers a refreshing selection of cool drinks and cocktails to ensure the ultimate luxury experience. There’s just no need to leave the pool!

Main restaurant

Enjoy a warm atmosphere that complements the international cuisine served at The Jangada’s buffet at all mealtimes. This restaurant is centrally located, has plenty of outdoor space and typical Brazilian decor. All of the restaurant’s 6 rooms are non-smoking. Tables sit 4 to 8 people and high chairs are available for babies.

The Jangada

This typical restaurant, with semi-open architecture, is located near the river that runs through the Resort. It serves late breakfast and lunch, as well as Brazilian speciality dishes in the evening, with waiter service. Evening tables must be booked in advance at Reception. This is a non-smoking restaurant. Tables sit 4 to 8 people and baby high chairs are available. The restaurant may be closed at certain times of the year.

Between sea and tropical forest, on the edge of a protected nature reserve, a fun space in harmony with luxuriant nature welcomes children from 2 to 3 years old.

At Petit Club Med®, our G.O®s cater to their needs all day long, with a children’s lunch menu and specially devised evening activities.

We’ve thought of everything possible to ensure your children have a unique, adventure-packed holiday, with discovery, sports and activities for each age group:

This baby corner, located in the main restaurant, offers a special service for babies, with sweet and savoury baby foods and all the equipment necessary for preparing your baby’s meals.

CLUB MED BABY WELCOME® (FROM BIRTH TO 23 MONTHS) – Included

Until 23 months We’ve done everything in our power to ensure the comfort and well-being of babies and parents.

Personal welcome, baby-care material available in your room and/or in the baby feeding and equipment room (cot, baby bath, high chair on request, bottle-warmer), sweet and savoury baby foods, baby corner equipped to prepare babies’ meals, high chairs and/or booster cushions in the restaurant.

Spare pushchairs are also available if required.

BABY FEEDING AND EQUIPMENT ROOM – Included

Until 23 months

Open 24 hours a day, it provides all the equipment necessary for preparing babies’ meals: mixer, steriliser (provided only on request), microwave, fridge, bottle warmer (systematically provided in the room for G.Ms® who have reserved the Baby Club Med® or Club Med Baby Welcome®) and additional products such as mineral water, fruit and long-life milk (baby formula milk not provided).

PETIT CHEF PROGRAM® – Included

From 2 to 10 years

You reap what you sow at Rio das Pedras, so before getting to taste the results of their efforts, the children learn how to look after a little vegetable garden. In a fun atmosphere, they get to plant, water and pick the fruit and vegetables in the garden, teaching them the basics of gardening and respect for the environment.

The fun continues in a real kitchen where these budding chefs learn how to make savoury dishes such as mini pizzas or sweet favourites such as delicious cookies and colourful cupcakes. And the icing on the cake is that parents can come and taste what the children have made!

LITTLE SOCCER – Included

A half hour lesson with equipment, facilities and method devised specifically for children.
