Changes to the Swiss employment law and minimum wage forced most UK tour operators to withdraw ski chalets from Swiss ski resorts and this affected our choice of ski chalets in Zermatt.

Zermatt is an expensive ski resort, even by Swiss standards and a catered ski chalet is perhaps the most cost effective way to enjoy a skiing holiday in Zermatt.

The skiing here favours the more advanced skiers, timid intermediates and beginners might be better off on the Italian side of the ski area in Cervinia.
