Skiers and snowboarders taking their ski holidays in resorts around Europe this month have plenty of attractions to choose from. Here are a few examples of what’s on offer.
Kitzbühel, Austria

Escape Festival 20–26 March: The electronic boutique festival Sound | Escape is taking place for the first time at the Kitzbüheler Horn. The organisers say the three-day festival will generate unforgettable moments, with CLAPTONE confirmed as the headline act. Admission is free, combining electronic music, mountain scenery, and late-season skiing into a unique alpine experience.
Portes du Soleil, France/Switzerland

Rock the Pistes Festival 15–21 March: This popular high-altitude music festival in the Portes du Soleil is staged on spectacular open-air stages. Visitors on their ski holidays can spend their mornings skiing and snowboarding down the slopes, attend late-afternoon mountainside concerts, and then spend the evenings enjoying lively après-ski parties in Portes du Soleil villages. The festival blends world-class music with breathtaking panoramas and an electric atmosphere. Morzine is hosting a standout performance from French pop-rock band Superbus.
Innsbruck, Austrian Tirol

Osterfestival Tirol 21 March – 5 April: The festival is held annually around Easter and includes a whole range of concerts, music, theatre, and other entertainments, such as traditional Easter and Passion plays reimagined for the present day. The event features renowned international artists and emerging talent who combine diverse art forms in unexpected ways, creating a unique link between past and present.
Verbier, Switzerland

The Green Film Festival 20 March – 12 April: This will be the second time The Green Film Festival has been held in Verbier. It provides an inspiring programme of socially conscious film screenings, discussions, and activities dedicated to the environment and ecological transition.
The festival presents six films exploring themes of sustainability, civic engagement, and climate action: Scouts on 20 March at 7:30 pm at Espace Saint-Marc, followed by a discussion; Indigenous Yeasts on 24 March at 7:30 pm at Espace Saint-Marc; Too Hot on 26 March at 7:30 pm at Verbier Cinema; Power and Resistance on 30 March at 7:30 pm at Espace Saint-Marc; Flow on 7 April at 3:00 pm at Espace Saint-Marc, followed by a children’s workshop and snack; and Life Defending Itself on 12 April at 5:00 pm at Verbier Cinema, followed by a discussion and drinks. Screenings are priced from 10 CHF per person.
Les Arcs, France

Electronik Peak Festival 25–27 March: Among the highlights in Les Arcs this season is the Electronik Peak Festival. This year’s theme is an ode to friendship, celebrating love, music, and reunions with three unique evenings.
