Chalet Sundara is a brand new four bedroom luxury ski chalet located at the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc massif in Chamonix. Designed by renowned local architect Lionel Adam, this exquisite chalet features a minimal-spacious aesthetic achieved through carefully sourced natural materials, inspired by the local Chamonix mountains and the Balearic Islands. With a total living space of 350 square meters, Chalet Sundara offers an abundance of space for relaxation, socializing, and entertainment, providing the perfect setting for an unforgettable ski holiday.
At the heart of this luxury chalet is the expansive 110m² open-plan living area, where floor-to-ceiling windows showcase breathtaking panoramic views of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi, and the stunning Glacier des Bossons and Glacier de Taconnaz. This spectacular space is perfect for family gatherings after exhilarating ski days, featuring a large dining table for 12, a cozy sofa area with a cast iron ethanol fireplace, and a desk for those needing to stay connected.
The well-appointed kitchen comes fully equipped, catering to both gourmet chefs and those on the go. Sliding doors on the west side of the living area open onto a beautifully furnished sun terrace and upper garden, creating a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living. In winter, the seating area invites a sense of calm and tranquility, while summer brings opportunities for outdoor dining and barbecues, great for raising a glass and sharing culinary feasts with friends and family.
On the ground floor, guests will find four spacious en-suite bedrooms, each designed for ultimate comfort and privacy. All bedrooms provide direct access to an intimate lower garden featuring an outdoor lounge and a sunken hot tub, perfect for relaxation after a day on the slopes. Additionally, the chalet includes an indoor spa area, complete with a sauna, hammam, and Turkish shower, ensuring a rejuvenating experience after your mountain adventures.
Located on the south-facing slopes above the centre of Chamonix, Sundara is just a 10-minute walk from the town centre and a short drive from the Le Brévent ski area. Chalet Sundara is nestled in the picturesque village of Les Moussoux, perched high on the southern alpine slopes above Chamonix’s town centre. This location is one of the most coveted in the renowned Chamonix valley. With breathtaking views that truly must be seen to be believed, Chalet Sundara offers a stunning panorama of the Mont Blanc Massif, showcasing some of the most celebrated north faces in the alpine world.
The Brevent ski lift is just a quick 10-minute walk from the chalet, while the Aiguille du Midi cablecar can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The charming pedestrian area of Chamonix, filled with specialty shops, restaurants and bars, is an easy 15-minute stroll, with the start of the town located approximately 800 meters from the chalet. However, we encourage our guests to keep in mind that the return walk to the chalet is uphill, so planning is advisable! Both the central train and bus stations are also within a 15-20 minute walk, and public transport provides convenient access to all the ski stations throughout the Chamonix Valley.
