Specialist ski chalet operator YSE has been operating its business in Val d’Isere for over 40 years  In 2018 they won the Daily Telegraph awards for ‘Best Ski Tour Operator’.

YSE feature 19 ski chalets and one chalet hotel in Val d’Isere that are available as ATOL bonded packages with flights available from London Gatwick at flight times that appeal to our clients. Flights depart LGW at 10:40 and arrive at Lyon at 13:10. The return flights depart Lyon at 14;15 and arrive back to LGW at 14:45, which mean no nasty early morning departures as is so often the case with ski charter flights.

Their chalets range in size from the largest, which sleeps 16, 14 and 12, their medium chalets sleep 10 to 8 although some have extra beds to accommodate 2 additional guests. The smaller chalets, of which there are six sleep between 7 to 10 people. Unusually their also offer 4 catered ski chalets that sleep just 6 to 4 people.

Most of YSE chalets are within easy walking distance of the lifts, but for those a little further a land rover shuttle service is available, to save your legs for skiing.

Good food is an obsession at YSE, so is the standard of the chalet wine. Catering is provided on 5/6 nights a week and to set guests up for the day a proper skiers breakfast is provided, with a self-service arrangement on the staff’s days off.

Afternoon tea is another highlight as guests return to their chalets a freshly baked cake, snacks and hot drinks are ready and waiting.
