    During the summer, rooms at The Lodge can be booked for individual stays. Or, if you prefer to gather with friends and family for an action-packed Alpine break, this mountain hideaway can also be booked for exclusive use.

    The Lodge

    An idyllic, traditional wooden chalet, The Lodge is perched high in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of approximately 1,500 metres, commanding uninterrupted views of the surrounding peaks.

    This Verbier mountain retreat offers every luxury and comfort, offering a cosy sanctuary that feels like a true home from home.

    This postcard-perfect chalet sleeps up to 18 adults in nine rooms, all enjoying views out to the valley below. An additional six children can be accommodated in the kids’ bunkroom, making it perfect for holidaying with friends and family.

    The Lodge can be booked for exclusive use. You can also book a room for individual stays in the summer and during certain weeks in the winter.

    Rooms and suites

    Perfect for holidays with friends and family, The Lodge sleeps up to 18 adults in seven beautifully decorated bedrooms and two stunning master suites, all enjoying views of the valley below. There's also accommodation for up to six children in the Bunkroom.

    Bedrooms

    Located on the second and third floors, each of these three bedrooms is uniquely designed. Two can be made up with a super king-size or twin beds. The duplex room spreads over two floors.

    Our warm, inviting bedrooms at The Lodge are all individually designed and bring together a mix of traditional and modern elements to create a homely, harmonious feel.

    Expect a mix of calming colours and restful textures, designed to cocoon you in comfort, with large, cosy beds, and either a separate shower room or a balcony.

    Ranging in size from 17 m² to 29 m², our bedrooms are located on either the second and third floor with the duplex room set across both floors.

    Large bedrooms

    All four large bedrooms on the second and third floors have balconies and large bathrooms with separate showers and bathtubs. These rooms can be made up of super king or twin beds

    Our large bedrooms are perfect if you’re searching for a little more room to spread out, with a generous 28 to 33 square metres in which to get comfortable.

    Each has a calming sleeping area, a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, and plenty of richly upholstered furniture to snuggle down on with a blanket and get comfortable.

    In winter, sink into the relaxing bathtub for a soak. In summer, grab a refreshing drink and sit out on your own private balcony, taking in the views and enjoying the alpine sun.

    Master Suites

    Located on the top floor with magnificent views of the mountains and valley, these suites feature fireplaces and sitting space. There’s even a secret bookcase door connecting the suites together!

    With traditional wooden beams, a decadent central fireplace and balconies commanding awe-inspiring mountain views, our two enormous Master Suites are the perfect place to unwind after an action-packed day in the Swiss Alps.

    Run a fragrant bubble bath and enjoy a soak in the tub, curl up on the plush sofa with a good book or simply relax in front of the fire. This is a calming, comfortable space where you can lose track of time.

    Both Master Suites are connected by a secret doorway hidden behind a bookcase – see if you can find it!

    The Bunkroom

    Located on the second floor, the Bunkroom can accommodate six children. It has three sets of bunk beds, a separate shower room, and plenty to keep little ones entertained.

    The ultimate youngster’s hideaway, the Bunkroom at The Lodge sleeps up to six children – perfect for escaping the adults after a busy day out on the mountains.

    Located on the second floor, it’s set up with three sets of bunk beds, bean bags, a games console and a large TV screen with Netflix and Apple TV.

    Please note: In the summer months, the Bunkroom is available to book as a separate room along with at least one other room in the chalet.

    Gym

    Need a little more stamina? Visit the gym and workout on the treadmill, bike, cross-trainer and free weights station and afterwards relax those muscles on the stretching mats. We’ve even got a plasma screen TV with Netflix and Apple TV and a music system to keep you entertained.

    Indoor Pool & Hot Tubs

    Relax those aching muscles in the indoor or outdoor hot tubs after a day out – it’s heaven! Or just refresh yourself with a dip in our 9m heated indoor pool.

    Steam Room

    If you want to relax at the end of the day you can let off some steam in our steam room. It’s also a great way to purify your skin.

    Dining/Lounge Area

    There’s no better way to enjoy a meal than to gather around our large dining table for some good food and great company. Toast marshmallows on the log fire or sink into large comfy sofas with a nice cup of hot chocolate before bed… or even something stronger if you like!

    Food and drink

    Foodies are in for a treat at The Lodge.

    The open-plan kitchen is a great place to watch the culinary team – headed up by a Michelin-trained chef – at work, as they craft a series of Swiss and international dishes.

    Get together at the large dining table for a meal with family and friends or, in the summer, dine outside on the terrace taking in the beautiful surroundings.

    Things to do

    After a day of exhilarating activities, head home for a dip in the indoor heated pool, relax in the indoor or outdoor hot tubs or indulge with a spa treatment.

    There’s also a fully equipped gym and steam room. Play pool or dance the night away in the party area, or kick back and watch a film on the large plasma screen while enjoying a few drinks from the bar.

    Activities at The Lodge

    Hit the gym for a cardio and weights workout, before taking a dip in the 9m indoor pool. Following a day on the mountains, soothe aching muscles in the indoor or outdoor hot tub, relax in the steam room or indulge in a spa treatment.

    Spa treatments

    After an action-packed day in the Swiss mountains, you’ll find plenty of ways to unwind at The Lodge.

    Take a dip in the cosy indoor pool. Ease into one of the indoor or outdoor hot tubs. Let off some steam in the healing eucalyptus-infused steam room, or stretch out tired muscles in the gym.

    You’ll be rested, restored, and raring to get back out into the mountains in no time.

    Treatments

    We offer a range of soothing, relaxing and energising spa treatments – the perfect way to revive and relax your senses following a day spent skiing or hiking in the Alps.

    Treatments can be booked on request, and range from sports massages to purifying facials.

    Mountain adventures

    Home to many prestigious cycling events with hundreds of kilometres of biking trails, Verbier is a mountain biker's dream. There’s plenty for hikers, too – from leisurely walks to challenging 7-hour hikes.

    To see the Swiss Alps from a different perspective, try rock climbing or take to the sky for a paragliding session. For something a little gentler, a sunrise yoga session on the mountain makes for the perfect start to a summer day.

    Family fun

    The team at The Lodge are experts are keeping our ‘Lodge Rangers’ entertained while parents enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation during a family vacation in the Swiss Mountains.

    Since we know every Lodge Ranger is different and likes different activities, we don't operate a set programme but instead offer a fun and educational range of activities tailored to each of our younger guests.

    Golf

    Golfers are spoilt for choice when it comes to courses in the area. Most courses are located within a (spectacular) one-hour’s drive from The Lodge.

    Reach new heights at the Verbier Golf Course, located at an altitude of 1600m, or be won over by the beauty of the world-renowned Crans Montana, home of the annual Omega European Masters.

    All courses nearby offer breathtaking views of the spectacular surrounding peaks, making for the most stunning of settings in which to play a round of golf.

    Explore the Alps

    The Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the Swiss Alps.

    Find out why Swiss wine is a well-kept secret at one of the region’s vineyards, wander through picturesque villages, explore one of Europe’s biggest underground lakes by boat or take to the trees to tackle ropes, swings and tree ladders at the Adventure Park near Sion.

    The food served at The Lodge is sure to be one of the highlights of your stay. A mix of Swiss and international cuisine, dining can be as formal or as informal as you wish.

    Push the boat out with a full four-course gourmet feast, host a themed evening or request some healthy snacks for young guests. The agenda is yours to set.

    What’s on the menu?

    Start the day with a hearty breakfast of delicious pastries, fruits, cereals, homemade jams and cooked dishes before heading out for a day in the mountains.

    For guests who prefer to relax at The Lodge during the day, a light lunch is served – often outside on the terrace during the summer. The team can also arrange table reservations in Verbier or on the slopes or arrange picnics for summer excursions.

    Endless treats

    During the winter, once the lifts stop running it’s time to head back to The Lodge for a slice (or two) of homemade cake with mulled wine – well deserved after an active day on the mountain.

    In the summer, the smell of freshly baked cookies will tempt guests to the kitchen to catch up over an afternoon treat and a refreshing drink. Guests are encouraged to treat The Lodge like their home and are welcome to help themselves to drinks at any time.

    Time for dinner

    Catch up with family and friends over dinner at The Lodge, while watching our Michelin-trained head chef and his team at work in the open kitchen.

    Sample dishes created with locally sourced produce, try Swiss wine (a highly guarded secret, with 95% of the wine produced in Switzerland not exported) or indulge in local cheeses such as the famous Raclette from the Valais region.
