The Hotel Dolonne’s all about history and tradition, starting with the building itself. Originally built in the 16th century, it’s filled with original features, from the spiral staircase to the huge flagstone fireplace.
Each morning there’s a buffet spread to set you up for the mountain. Then its time to grab your gear from the boot room, ready-up for the slopes and then walk for 5-6 mins – or hop on the ski bus – to the nearest gondola. Once you’re done for the day, you can swap slope stories over drinks in the bar before heading into the dining room. Food-wise, it’s all about hearty plates of fresh Italian pasta here – simple, delicious and the perfect fuel for hungry skiers.
As for the bedrooms, they’re homely but comfy, with lots of wood and chunky stone walls. And as an added bonus, lots of them have great views of Mont Blanc too.
Tuck into traditional Italian dishes in the restaurant.
Round off the day with an après tipple in the bar.
Ski bus stop less than a minute's walk away.

Tourist Tax
In some resorts, you’ll need to pay a small fee called a ‘tourist tax' at your accommodation, either when you check in or check out.
These taxes can change at short notice, so it’s always worth checking the latest details before you travel.
Good to know: Not all accommodation accepts card payments for taxes, so you may need to pay in cash instead. For some countries, tourist taxes are calculated based on an accommodation's official rating, which can be different to its rating on our/the operators site.
