Fancy a traditional hotel in a handy location for the slopes? Look no further. The Arbina in Tignes Le Lac has a Savoyarde look from top to bottom, with lots of wood panelling and cosy touches, and it’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the lifts, ski school and lake.
Pick between a twin, triple or quad room, which all have nods to mountain culture – whether that means snowflake patterns in the curtains and cushions or vintage ski posters on the walls. And you’ll wake up to lovely views of either the mountains or village.
In the restaurant, you’ll fuel up for the day with things like meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit. Then in the evenings, there are three courses of classic French fare to look forward to.
