The Retreat Morzine, France
Tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Montriond, The Retreat is a lovingly renovated 19th-century Savoyard farmhouse that combines authentic rustic charm with thoughtful alpine style. Sleeping up to 15 guests, it’s the perfect base for families and groups looking to enjoy the mountains in a warm, character-filled setting.
From exposed beams and stone walls to carefully chosen furnishings, every detail of the chalet reflects a deep appreciation for tradition and mountain living.
The Retreat has seven beautifully styled bedrooms, spread across three floors:
Set over three levels, The Retreat has everything you need for a relaxed and memorable mountain getaway.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a welcoming bar and snug – the perfect spot to kick off your après-ski with a drink and a few games.
On the upper floor, the heart of the chalet is the spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. This inviting space is centred around a striking contemporary fireplace and flooded with natural light from the expansive sliding glass doors, which open out onto a stunning wrap-around balcony. A large dining table comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests, making it the perfect setting for shared meals and memorable gatherings.
Step outside to soak in the hot tub, enjoy the fresh mountain air and take in the peaceful surroundings. There’s also a secure boot room with boot warmers to keep your gear toasty and dry.
This is a dog-friendly chalet – so your four-legged friend is welcome too!
Prices shown are per person based on 14 people sharing the chalet.
Tuesday and Thursday are the chalet days off. A continental buffet breakfast will be laid and we can recommend one of Morzine’s finest restaurants for these evenings. Lifts to the slopes will still be available on these days as well as afternoon tea.
