Chalet Angelina

St Anton, Austria
  • Catered Chalet
  • Sleeps 18
    • Lift : 50m
    • Piste : 50m
    , nights

The chalet is just next to the piste, where ski access is quick and easy. Just stroll 50m out the door to put your skis on to go directly to the Nasserein gondola and you are straight up into the best ski area of Austria with 340km piste and 96 ski lifts. You can be among the first to hit the slopes in the morning. The ski track at 50m of the chalet is easy and suitable for children and beginners, they ski directly to the three drag lifts at the nursery slopes. At the end of the day, you will ski nearby the chalet. If you don't ski to the lift, the Nasserein gondola is at 500m. You could walk, but we can imagine that if you will find this distance too far the excellent ski-bus service stopping just in front of the chalet and running regularly throughout the day. At the lift, there are also heated ski lockers for your boots, skis and board. The centre of St Anton with the après-ski and nightlife is 5 minutes' walk (500m).

Our chalet is in an idyllic position in St Anton’s most family-friendly area.

This tranquil hamlet with stunning panoramic views across to the off-piste slopes of Hinter Rendl is the oldest part of St Anton. This little hamlet retains a wonderfully traditional ambience and appearance, with some of its handsome pitched-roof houses, set in gardens with neat picket fences, dating back five or six centuries. Here you can enjoy a more traditional village atmosphere, and the area has its own selection of bars and restaurants.

This Tyrolean chalet was once run as a family guesthouse and is an ideal size for a family or group of friends. The chalet benefits from a separate lounge and dining area, the former with flatscreen TV. The south-facing sun-terrace next to the dining room provides stunning mountain views.

All bedrooms have new flatscreen TV's, divan beds, duvets and pillows. Brunelle is perfect for those seeking a welcoming, cosy chalet and convenient skiing in the heart of the Arlberg. If you have children, it is only a short walk or ski down to the nursery slopes, ski kindergarten and a drag lift. Catered chalets in St Anton am Arlberg are ideal for those who love to combine serious skiing with serious après-ski.

This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Unlike most other chalet companies who leave you to look after yourselves on hosts day off, this operators chalet hosts are on hand to help clear away breakfast and layout afternoon tea. Would you like to be the first on the piste or you would like to relax in the morning? You can agree the time of breakfast with the hosts. No worries about the dishes, the hosts will do this for you.

    Lunch

Lunch is not included in your chalet holiday. If you don’t plan to eat in a restaurant on the piste, but on a sunny place in the mountains, you can make a packed lunch for a small charge while you have breakfast. You can also decide to have your lunch in the chalet and order some more breads with your hosts in the morning for a small price.

    • Frankfurter sausages in puff pastry
    • Quiche
    • Apple-cheese cookies

    Dinner

What's better than a dinner party when there is no preparation or washing up! The highlight of every day must be the delicious, innovative and freshly cooked three-course candle dinner prepared and served by your chalet hosts six evenings a week accompanied by local house wines, with coffee and tea to finish.

They are happy to cater for vegetarians and whenever possible for those needing special diets as long as we are notified at the time of booking. Please make sure this appears on your invoice otherwise they will not be able to plan their menus accordingly. Chalet hosts have the advantage of being flexible in their meal preparations. If you have any special dietary requirements, be it a vegetarian option or a special favourite for the kids, we will do our best (within reason!) to accommodate you.

This operator has received many compliments about the dinners. They will cook daily fresh menus every day. So, enjoy your drink while they prepare dinner! Maybe we will surprise you with a local cheese as the tartiflette with Reblochon cheese.

They want all their guests to enjoy their holiday and cooking with passion is very important part of that. Delicious and extensive food is an important part of a successful winter holiday! The hosts will spend a lot of time, care and attention in preparing the meals.

During a drink and a nibble, the hosts will discuss the menu and the dinner times with you. They can change the menu a little depending on your wishes. They can also discuss a special menu for the children. Please let us know and we can discuss the possibilities when we make your reservation. A couple of weeks before your stay you receive the phone number and email address from your chalet hosts if you would like to arrange some things before your arrival.

Because this operator aims to satisfy the preferences of all their guest, they also offer chalets with dinner in a restaurant nearby. In the ‘ski chalets facts’ section of all the chalets you can see if the dinner is in the chalet or in a restaurant. For sure, the breakfast is always in the chalet, so never in a restaurant. If the dinner is in a restaurant, this will be à la carte, based on a selected menu or standard. The drinks during the dinner are not including in the price. When you are back in your chalet, the drinks are included of course!

Please note that dinner and the cooked breakfast option are not available during the chalet hosts' day off when you will have the opportunity of eating at a local restaurant. Chalet hosts will be happy to give you information about the many wonderful local restaurants available in each of the resorts and to book a table for you.

Special menu and flexible dinner times for children

In almost all this operator's chalets, the chalet hosts will prepare dinner for all the group together. They can make a separate menu for the children. Naturally, if you have booked a whole chalet for your exclusive use, the choice of dining separately or together is entirely up to you. If you choose for the first option, it is a nice thought that you could relax during dinner while the children are sleeping in your own chalet safety and nearby.
