Perfectly nestled in the alpine landscape of the world-famous Arlberg massif, Chalet N welcomes its guests to an exclusive stay. Situated high above Oberlech, the very special winter residence at 1,660 metres above sea level opens up beautiful views of the Arlberg mountains with their pristine snow-white slopes. Chalet N is architecturally committed to the alpine wooden architecture of the region and sets a new standard with its rooms. Chalet N can only be rented in its entirety on an exclusive basis. Ten suites are available to guests, plus plenty of space in various lounges, restaurants and a spacious spa area. Chalet N blends elegantly and harmoniously into the Voralberg landscape.

Suites

Each of the ten suites, which offer cosy exclusivity for a total of 22 guests, allows an ever-fascinating view over the alpine winter landscape of Lech and Oberlech from their private balconies. All suites are equipped with a TV system in brilliant 4K QLED quality, with a perfectly matching high-tech audio system. Switched off, the large TV frames show art or mood images of inspiring beauty that guests can select. The system allows reception of various international streaming platforms, and guests naturally have the option of playing their own films or songs via the Bluetooth system of the networked devices. Excellent service also means that the home cinema is equipped with game consoles.

The quiet power and tranquillity of the mountain world of the Arlberg region can be felt from the very first glance at Chalet N. With its consistent wooden architecture and original construction, it blends stylishly into the landscape of the Alpine countryside, and yet the clear structure of its windows and balconies makes it an architectural gem. This clarity is also the basis of the design of the interior of Chalet N with its total of ten suites – including two executive suites, one junior suite and one children’s suite. The extraordinary penthouse suite with an open fireplace in the middle of the living room meets the highest demands.

Light to medium wood tones characterise the rooms. Wooden beams support the floorboard ceilings, and grained wood on the walls brings liveliness, balanced by wide, lightly polished floorboards that convey down-to-earth serenity.

This traditional alpine hut look is ingeniously broken up by strong accents: fireplaces, for example, which are set into large, monolithic surfaces of black, polished stone or metal, with glazed fireplaces. Or, as in the exclusive penthouse suite, they immediately place the mythical common fireplace, freely placed in the room, in a modern context.

In Chalet N, velvet, soft furs and fine fabrics form interesting contrasts with natural, rough surfaces. This skilful play with contrasts completely redefines the popular wooden chalet comfort, refreshed with a little glamour chic and a discreet deluxe feel.

The bedrooms perfectly balance homely comfort and tranquillity, always spiced up with refined design ideas. Like the bunk beds in the children’s suites or the massive frame construction in matt stainless steel, which quotes the idea of a four-poster bed. Here, as in the living rooms, suitably illuminated objects set the spacious rooms in the desired light.

Wood also sets the basic tone in the bathrooms. Complemented by the functional elegance of free-standing bathtubs and generous washbasin solutions made of solid polished stone. Rooms are predestined for a fresh start to the day as well as for a relaxing end to the evening, with the necessary touch of exclusive luxury.

The excellent service of Chalet N meets all the requirements of guests who are looking for the extraordinary in the middle of the original. Starting with the shuttle service for arrival and departure, the service offer continues with a 24-hour concierge and, on request, exclusive security staff and ski instructors. The spa and wellness offer is comprehensive, with a sauna landscape, pool and outdoor whirlpool in the snow – complete with drinks and snack service – while wellness experts and personal trainers are also exclusively available in the spa area. The kitchen and wine cellar round off this service perfectly. The kitchen team is available around the clock and perfectly fulfils the culinary wishes of the guests.

Guests can expect a comprehensive service at Chalet N, which discreetly and individually caters to the wishes of each guest. From a shuttle service for arrival and departure to a 24-hour concierge service for all questions and desires, nothing is too much. Security staff, ski instructors, personal trainers, massage and beauty experts are also available on request.

Airport Shuttle & Chauffeur Service

All guests can enjoy a comfortable chauffeur service throughout their stay, which of course, also takes care of airport transfers. Innsbruck Airport is one hour and 40 minutes (124 kilometres) away, and Zurich Airport is two hours and 15 minutes (196 kilometres). The transfer from Munich Airport is around three hours and 15 minutes (312 kilometres). Parking spaces are available in the underground car park for guests’ own vehicles.

The kitchen is always open for guests. Room service is available around the clock, and dishes are prepared according to individual wishes and special requirements. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are a matter of course and excellently round off the culinary offer at Chalet N.

In addition to first-class entertainment equipment in each room, this service also includes, for example, the perfectly designed Home Cinema Room for perfect movie enjoyment. Susanne Kaufmann’s multi-award-winning cosmetic products are used in the spa & beauty sector. Susanne Kaufmann is considered an international pioneer of effective natural cosmetics. Ligne St. Barth products are used for massages, and the root of these exclusive cosmetic brands lies in the natural ingredients of Saint-Barthélemy in the Caribbean. Wine menus at the Chefs Table are served directly in the wine cellar with its elegant flair. For those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, there is a modern interpretation of cosiness in the Walser-Stüberl. The Fireplace & Lounge Bar, on the other hand, offers the flair and elegant comfort of a private club.

Dining

The cuisine at Chalet N elegantly spans a wide range: From conventional dishes from the Voralberg region, such as roast pork and Wiener schnitzel, liver cheese or game dishes, to traditional Kaiserschmarren. Everything is prepared with ingredients from the region. This culinary offer is completed by international delicacies such as beef from Japan, tuna from Spain and white truffles from Italy, which unfold their aroma so inimitably in pasta. All dishes are homemade and committed to optimal quality.

Structure is given to the culinary culture of Chalet N by the meals of the day: breakfast, lunch and snack menu, afternoon tea or après-ski to the dinner event. In addition, the kitchen is always open, and the team is there for guests around the clock – with room service on request. However, eating together has a special significance at Chalet N: from the sharing concept at lunch to fine dining with five courses in the evening.

Wining

Finding the right wine from Chalet N’s wine cellar, which is superbly stocked with around 200 bottles, is always the most noble task of the sommelier and catering manager. Wines from all interesting wine regions are available, including Austria, Italy, Germany and France, as well as the New World. Exclusive cooperations exist, for example, with the Maison Champagne Collard Picard or the Schloss Halbturn winery.

The wine cellar also offers wines from the Nikolaihof winery, the oldest winery in Austria, which cultivates its wines according to biodynamic Demeter guidelines. Excellent and rare Bordeaux wines are available in many oversizes for special occasions.

Location

Guests have a free choice of location for dinner every evening: From fine dining at the large table in the restaurant, with its architecturally very successful melange of classic elegance and modernly quoted regional wooden architecture, to the kitchen party with DJ, front cooking and flying buffet. Wine menus at the chef’s table are served directly in the wine cellar, which has a unique and elegant flair. Tasting menus for special wines are also possible, with the winemakers presenting them personally on request. Those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere will find modern interpretations of cosiness in the fireplace & lounge bar.

Kitchen

The kitchen is happy to spontaneously respond to guests’ menu requests and is open to suggestions. The kitchen team is also happy to fulfil special requests for vegan or vegetarian dishes, with hummus and falafel as well as vegan deluxe burgers or vegetarian pasta being just a few examples.

At Chalet N, it’s the team that counts, and it’s quite possible that the chef himself will be serving. Interesting cooking classes are offered on request, and entertaining baking classes are organised for children.

Beauty & S pa

Guests will find relaxation and tranquillity in the sensual spa area of Chalet N where Hay sauna, Finnish sauna or salt tunnel steam bath, complete with steam shower, ice fountain and cold pool, are available. The beauty area is equipped with double and single massage beds in its rooms.

The exclusively designed pool landscape, complemented by a Jacuzzi in the outdoor area, invites guests into a wonderful water world. From a culinary point of view, guests at the spa can choose from a selection of light and organic snacks as well as drinks, alongside the usual full range of cuisine on offer around the clock. The excellently equipped fitness areas complete the wellness offer of the hotel, offering a wide range of state-of-the-art fitness equipment for strength training or cardiovascular training.

The entire lower lobby level of Chalet N is generously dedicated to recreation and relaxation. At the centre is a pool landscape that radiates calm and serenity. Columns made from the rock of the regional Alps support the wooden ceilings, and the water of the pool shimmers green. Here, the eyes can also find peace. The sauna rooms are adjacent: With hay sauna, Finnish sauna and a salt tunnel steam bath available, complemented by an ice fountain, cold water pool and relaxation rooms. Two outdoor Jacuzzis complete the extraordinary wellness experience. Perfectly coordinated, the pool menu provides a selection of light, appropriate snacks, but the kitchen also offers everything guests like in the spa area.

The beauty area offers a spacious room for single massage treatments as well a couple treatments and a room for cosmetic treatments.

The sports massages and lymphatic drainage treatments are very popular, as is the professional pedicure, which works wonders when you get out of your ski boots after hours on the slopes.

The fitness area of the Health Club, technically equipped with modern machines, completes the wellness offer of the resort. The fitness equipment makes effective strength and endurance training or cardiovascular training possible, also with a personal trainer. The health club and pool area are open around the clock.
