Half Term Ski Chalets 2026

Half term ski chalets are extremely popular with Ski Line family clients. The school holiday timing (with departures typically falling on 14–15 February this season) and some of the best snow conditions of the winter make this one of the busiest weeks for skiing.

The extra space and home-from-home feel of a chalet cannot be matched by a hotel, making chalets an excellent choice for families. We particularly recommend ski-in ski-out chalets, as they make getting children on and off the slopes far easier.

Top tip: consider chalets in Switzerland, Italy or Austria at half term. Unlike France, these countries do not observe February half term, so pistes can often be quieter.
