Perched up on the red cliffs of the Algarve, this all-inclusive family resort in Portugal is perfect for golf fans. The Amalia

In the centre of the Resort, this elegant bar is the perfect place to meet up with family and friends at the end of a dynamic day’s sporting activities. Ideal for early evening drinks, it is also a great place to stop off in the afternoon to cool off and recharge.

The Falesia

This sleek bar is ideally located near the swimming pool, in the centre of the Resort. Order yourself a classic cocktail and lounge by the pool, the day is all yours!

The quiet pool bar (new)

From mid-June 2016, this bar serves a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Relax with friends or family in a comfy, Zen space by the quiet pool.

Restaurants

The Balaïa

This is the main restaurant, with a view of the sea and pool. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from a buffet of international cuisine. Smoking is not allowed inside the restaurant.

There is a Baby Corner where parents can prepare food for the youngest members of the family.

The Vasco de Gamma

A restaurant with a cosy lounge atmosphere to discover and share with partner or friends. The Vasco de Gamma welcomes you for late lunch after an excursion or round of golf. For information: open certain evenings, booking required, at Reception. Waiter service.

Accommodations

The Resort has 389 rooms divided between 3 buildings connected by glass walkways.

Next to the Club Med Spa, facing the swimming pool, the first hotel “Coimbra” has 11 storeys, and the second hotel”Lisboa” 6 storeys. These two buildings constitute the FADO Hotel.

The 4-storey BELEM Hotel is located close to the Golf Club House.

Club Med Baby Welcome® (from birth to 23 months) – Included

Until 23 months
We’ve done everything in our power to ensure the comfort and well-being of babies and parents.

Personal welcome, baby-care material available in your room and/or in the baby feeding and equipment room (cot, changing mat, baby bath, bottle-warmer), sweet and savoury baby foods, baby corner equipped to prepare babies’ meals, high chairs and/or booster cushions in the restaurant.

Spare pushchairs are also available if required.

Pyjamas Club® – Not Included

From 4 months to 7 years
The Pyjamas Club® is a group babysitting service (no specific activities). It enables parents to leave their children with a team of experienced and qualified G.O®s in a dedicated area with all the necessary comforts (beds, couches, video area, etc).

Proposed 3 evenings a week, depending on the entertainment programme. For children from 4 months to 8 years old.

Baby restaurant – Included

From 4 months to 3 years
The meals are devised by the team of specialist chefs at the Baby restaurant, to satisfy babies’ specific needs.

At the Baby restaurant, the G.O®s are in charge of lunch, but parents can share it with their children if they wish.

Baby corner – Included

From 4 to 23 months
An area devoted entirely to small children in the La Balaia restaurant.

This Baby corner has savoury and sweet baby foods, but also proposes a buffet with starters, meats, fish, vegetables, purées, soups, and even cheese and desserts! Plus all the equipment necessary for preparing babies’ meals: microwave, bottle-warmer, mixer.

Highchairs are also available. At Baby Club Med, the G.O®s are totally in charge of lunch, but parents can share it with their children if they wish.

Baby feeding and equipment room – Included

Until 23 months
Open 24 hours a day, it provides all the equipment necessary for preparing babies’ meals: mixer, steriliser (provided only on request), microwave, fridge, bottle warmer (systematically provided in the room for G.Ms® who have reserved the Baby Club Med® or Club Med Baby Welcome®) and additional products such as mineral water, fruit, yoghourt, biscuits, cereals and long-life milk (baby formula milk not provided).

Playground – Included

The playgrounds by the children’s club facilities are open to all children, accompanied by their parents, outside Baby and Petit Club Med® opening hours.

Babies explore movement – crawling, climbing and sliding – on fun circuits created especially for them. The activity is run by G.O®, as part of the children’s club activities proposed. Parents may also take part in this learning activity when the G.O® organise specific events.
